Product Application:

High-temperature paint:

 Silok®8231 can be used as upper flow agent for metal baking finish and coil coating.It can withstand high temperatures ,provides excellent surface smoothness and good shrinkage cavity resistance, it also has excellent overcoatability.

UV system:

Silok®8231 also applies to UV varnish and UV colored paint systems, which has excellent miscibility of the system.It can provide superior leveling,slip,sense of fullness and excellent foam suppression and overcoatability.

Epoxy resin system:

Silok®8231 applies to epoxy paint and epoxy products, which has good levelling without affecting transparency and gloss.Meanwhile it will not be stable foam and has overcoatability.

Water-based System:

Silok®8231 has good compatibility, which can promote flow and leveling, increase gloss, and suppress foam when used in water-based coatings, water-based ink and water-based varnish oil.

Automobile finish,industrial paint, wood lacquer:

Silok®8231 has excellent overcoatability, it applies to car paint, auto repair paint, plastic baking finish, high-gloss wood finishing paint and priming paint.

Storage and transport:

Unopened stored at room temperature,the shelf-life of the product from the date of production for 24 months.

This product is untested or stated to be adaptable to medical or pharmaceutical.

Note:

Silok®8231 will be muddy until solidified (caused by the products structure) when the temperatures below 0 .You need to heat it until dissolve before use,and repeatedly freezing and heating will not affect the results. For ease to use, it is recommended when the 8230 in liquid state, with alcohol, benzene, or ester solvents diluted to about 20% of the solution before save.
