Product Features:

Silok®7160 is a high efficient inorganic pigment wetting dispersant. Containing more adsorption-based groups and higher activity;

l          Suitable for dispersion of inorganic pigments, especially for TiO2 dispersing stabilization;

l          It can extremely reduce the viscosity of the grinding.

l          It can greatly reduce the time of grinding; Help flocculation of the pigment and enable the stabilization of color strength.

l         It can be used together with Silok-788 series.  

Product Application:

1. TiO2 and inorganic pigment dispersing:

Silok®7160 is a typical titanium pigment grinding wetting dispersant, it can make highly concentrated titanium dioxide pigment paste, can greatly shorten the grinding time and improve the grinding fineness; Increase the hiding power and whiteness of titanium dioxide; can be used to deal with inorganic pigments and fillers, increase the affinity, dispersion of the inorganic powder material in organic polymers.

2. Rubber and plastic

Silok®7160 can be used for a variety of rubber, plastic system, is used to disperse and stability titanium dioxide and inorganic fillers, and can increase the filling of inorganic pigment in rubber and plastic system; and to increase the strength of rubber, plastic.

Application Method:

suggest diluting it to 20% effective content by some suitable carrier and diluent. And then spray it or add it in the inorganic pigment, make sure the dispersant can be maximized wetting, enwrap the surface of the dispersed particle. Typical amount of the proportion of

titanium pigment of 0.5%-2.0%;

Inorganic pigment of 0.3%-1.0%;

However, the specific dosage to each pigment is different, so it requires to determining by experiments.
