Product Application:

1. UV System

Silok®8144 is a classical additive for UV varnish, solvent-based UV, solvent-free UV and UV paint system, can provide excellent leveling, high-film fullness, high-slip sense, anti-scratch, wearable, and it has a unique shrinkage property; its miscibility is also very good;  Silok®8144 is poor in re-coating in the UV system, needed to be assessed carefully.

2. Solvent-borne coatings

Silok®8144 is applicable to all solvent-based coating system (such as lacquer, PU wood finish, NC paint, polyester paint wood, plastic paint, paint, ink, etc.), it can provide excellent leveling, sliding, high fullness, anti-shrinkage, excellent resin compatibility.

Silok®8144 in water-based ink, water-based leather paint, water-based plastic paint and metal paint, can provide a sense of prominence-slip, wear and anti-scratch; can significantly reduce surface tension of the system, endue with excellent mobility leveling to the coating.

Storage and Validity:

Unopened stored at room temperature; the shelf-life of the product from the date of production for 24 months.

Use Restrictions:

This product is untested or stated to be adaptable to medical or pharmaceutical.

Note:

Silok®8144 at the temperatures below 18°C, the product will be muddy until solidified (caused by the structure of the product itself),it need heat to make it dissolve and then use, repeat muddy and re-heating will not affect the results; For the convenience of use, suggests to diluting 8144 to about 20% of the solution for standby.
