Product Features:

Product Application:

Solvent-borne coatings:

Silok®53 is applicable to all solvent-based coating system, it can provide excellent anti-scratch and increasing slipping. Good resin compatibility

Water-based Paper Varnish System:

Silok®53 is a typical wear additives of water-based paper varnish oil system, compare to DC ® -51,similar with its rub resistance, but it can not gloss reduction, not easy to produce shrinkage, also promote leveling,and it has a great price-competitive.

Plastisol print:

Silok®53 is an additive of feeling, anti-sticking, soft-type in water-based plastisol print, water-based coating plastic with feeling, it has excellent anti-sticking soft smooth feel, dry oil-free feeling, enhance gloss.

Other water-borne coating system

 Silok®53 is applicable to water-based leather paint, water-based plastic paint, it can provide a sense of prominence-slip, anti-sticking, abrasion and scratch resistance;

Application method:

Silok®53 marproofing additive can be added in coatings, paints during or after the manufacturing process;

Ensure fully distributed evenly,

Typical addition:

Solvent-borne coating:         0.1% -0.3%,

Water-based paper varnish:     0.5%-0.8%

Plastisol print:                0.5%-1.0%

Dilute it to 20% solution by a suitable solvent, such as alcohols or esters before use, it can achieve the best distribution and miscibility of the system; however, the specific  dosage to each system is different, so it requires to determine by experiments.
